Loading Instructions Provided & Disregarded

Miracle Movers were given explicit instructions on how to properly load the trucks. These instructions were not followed, directly causing the damage documented above.

Instructions Given to Movers

Prior to loading, the moving company was shown the correct method for loading the 26' Penske truck

  • Movers were shown how to correctly load the 26' Penske truck with racks arranged 4 across and 4 front-to-back, totaling 16 racks
  • Two additional pipe racks were to be placed horizontally in the very rear of the truck near the door
  • Items designated for the U-Haul were pre-loaded onto hotel carts, ready to be packed into the truck
  • All racks were loaded and checked for any hanging dresses prior to being pushed out for transport

What Actually Happened

Miracle Movers disregarded loading instructions, resulting in damage to inventory and equipment

  • Loading instructions were not followed — fewer racks were placed in the Penske truck than directed
  • Because fewer racks fit due to improper loading, movers removed dresses from the pipe racks and placed them directly on the floor of the U-Haul
  • Gowns that remained properly hung and protected on prepared racks were removed by movers and piled loosely on dirty truck surfaces
  • The failure to follow the provided loading plan directly caused the soiling, staining, and equipment damage documented in this claim
